Despite being 'hard at work' in marketing and popularising the latest (and fourth) Destiny expansion, "Rise Of Iron"; multiple photos were "leaked" of the upcoming "Destiny 2", which fans speculate will be released in 2017.
On August 10th, video-game blogger (such as myself) started going crazy over a post on the website of Aziz Dosmetov which claimed to be home to multiple pictures of scrapped concept art of "Destiny 2". Although Bungie and Activision have nothing on this week's edition of 'Destiny Drama', many believe this to be legitimate as Aziz Dosmetov was a large part of creating Destiny's latest and best expansion, "The Taken King".
Although it was taken down soon after its release, a Reddit user under the name of "xbearface" created a mirrored version of his post so others can still see it. The link will be at the bottom of the page.
A Reddit post discussed this 'leaked' concept art in greater detail. This link will also be at the bottom of the page. The edited version of the post read the following:
Destiny 2 concept boards from artist who worked on Taken King:
Submitted five days ago by 'DustinThaxton':
"I came across an artist named Aziz Dosmetov who posted concept art for Destiny 2. There isn't any official confirmation that this is for Bungie or Destiny 2 but the quality of his work and his other clients seem legit. It's really beautiful work! He also has concept art for the Taken King which matches similar art seen in the game and trailers for that dlc. Links below...

The things that stand out to me are the sword, shield, and spear. HYPE!
EDIT: Let me clarify one thing... Concept art is just concept art even if it's official. This could be rejected concept art for all I know.
EDIT 2: The party is over guys. The post and work was taken down by the artist. I hope you got a little HYPE out of that to get you to Rise of Iron. Looking forward to both the sequel and DLC."
An editor at Kotaku under the name of 'Jason Schreiber' confirmed that the images were "scrapped concept art" and not of 'Destiny 2'. The concept art along with a picture of "Dosmetov's" website will be shown below, above the links. If you enjoyed this post, remember to subscribe to our blog to see more content.
